WOLFSKULL
Title: Midnite Masters
Label: Metalapolis Records
Release Date: 25th July 2025
I don’t write this lightly "Midnite Masters" is one of those records that crawls under your skin and sets up camp in your soul.
These teutonic terrors aren't just playing music here; they’re conjuring something ancient, something ritualistic. It’s the sound of shadows dancing under blood moons, and I’ve had this one on repeat while the world sleeps.
The album kicks off with the title track “Midnite Masters” a slab of groove-laced menace that grabbed me by the collar and dragged me into Wolfskull’s realm. There’s a primal quality to this track, like a sermon for the damned. I caught myself mouthing the lyrics on the fifth spin. That’s saying something.
“Holler in The Hollow” It’s hypnotic and strangely beautiful. it is exactly the kind of track that makes you feel seen if you’ve ever danced with your demons. Then comes “Jaguarette”, where in your minds eye this classy tune meets high-octane rock ‘n’ roll with the crowd singing along, it’s like gunning it through purgatory with your foot pressed hard to the floor.
"Wolfskull’s alchemy here is Sabbath roots twisted with something spectral think Danzig swagger meets Volbeat , but they’re doing it on their own terms.
This record reminds me why I got into this side of Metal in the first place. It’s dark without being bleak, heavy without drowning, and fierce without losing heart. "Midnite Masters" is more than an album I would say it’s a pact. One signed in ash, sweat, and moonlight.
Wolfskull, you’ve earned your throne. Long may you haunt it.
