                                                                           Venice Revive Interview 23/05/2025

MM: Can you tell us about your Band and who's your biggest influences
- Venice Revive is a symphonic metalcore project that's here to offer something
different, with heavy use of orchestral instruments while keeping the original
metalcore sound you know and love.
Some of my earlier influences are classic metalcore bands like Trivium, As I lay
Dying, Bullet for My Valentine and such. I try to intergrade more modern metalcore
elements in my next album, so I try to learn from bands like Catch Your Breath,
Until I Wake, Our Promise, etc.

MM: Where do you draw your inspirations and ideas from
- The first album talks about how I dealt with the loss of my dad, the five songs in
the middle represent the 5 stages of grief.
In my next album I'm aiming for something different – I grew up with no mental
support at all when I was younger, so the lyrics will be everything I needed to hear
but didn't get to, in hopes it would help people deal with whatever they deal with.

MM: What would you say is your Bands favourite song?
- I don't want kids, but I view my songs as I view my children that don't exist – I
don't pick favourites.

MM: Plans tour and festival wise for 2025
- It's a solo project, I wish to start performing ASAP, I just need to find the right
people for it.

MM: What can we expect from Venice Revive live
- I want our live shows to be an actual performance, borderline theatrical. I don't
want people to come and just watch the band members come and play their
instruments, I want them to come watch a show. How we'll achieve this is another
thing, but that's what I'm aiming for.

MM: Which three Bands would be your ultimate touring buddies
- That depends on their personalities, regardless of how they are as musicians, I
do know that I'd like to make as many friends as possible.

MM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your own)
and why
- Definitely Sleep Token, goosebumps throughout the entire show. It's Sleep Token, do I really need to
explain why?

MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with
- I reached the top of the national rock chart with only my second single

MM: Which are your Two favourite Albums of all time
- Trivium: Ascendancy and Orbit Culture: Nija

MM - Who do you think influenced the world of Metal / Rock more than any other
person
- I believe it was a group effort, think about how Rick even came from Pop so you
could even say The Beatles!

MM - What's the most important thing to the band right now?
- Exposure, reaching as many people as possible – A great time to thank for this
interview and the exposure we'll get from it, thank you!

MM:If you could do a cover of any song, which one would it be and why?
- I have many covers planned, all of them have lyrics that speak to me in some
ways, Follow me on social media to hear them when they're released!

MM: Tell us why we should buy and listen to your Band
- I believe I'm making something special when I combine symphonic metal &
metalcore, no other bands intergrade so many violin and piano lines into
metalcore like I do.
In addition, my lyrics are here to help, I like to listen to songs to help me deal with
life, hearing lyrics I can connect with is the most important thing for me when I
listen to a song, so I try to do the same with my music.
Like mentioned earlier, the first album is here to help you deal with loss, I really
hope it will help everyone who needs it.

MM: Four words to describe Venice Revive
- Here for your heart.
