The Chuck Norris Experiment Interview 07/02/2026
MM: Tell us about your band .. your influences and what took you down this genre of music
Hi I am Chuck Daniels, guitarist. We are The Chuck Norris Experiment from Sweden, and
we’ve been playing our own brand of "Action Hard Rock" since 2004. Our sound is a high-
energy blend of the classic rock, heavy metal and punk we grew up on and was influenced by.
MM:Are there any themes or messages you aim to convey through your music?
Anything and everything really. We write songs based on everything from a cool quote from a
film, memories from the road or different people that we have and haven ́t met. We want our
music to sound like we are having a blast playing it, and hopefully people will feel the same
when they listen to it.
MM: What can fans expect from you in the near future—new music, tours, collaborations?
2026 is going to be the year of Chuck. We have just released a really cool album called Hot
stuff 3 – a compilation of rare recordings and cover tracks. We will tour Finland, Spain, UK,
Germany and Sweden. And probably a few more countries not yet announced. We are also
working on material for a new album, that will be released as soon as we feel we are done
writing and recording. I can ́t get into details, but it ́s going to be really special ...
MM: Are there any dream venues or festivals you’d love to play?
Well, since I was a little kid I have been watching Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii, and still feel that it would
be a cool place to play. So, why not?
MM: What’s been your most memorable live performance so far, and why?
For me, it ́s probably somewhere in Germany in the noughties, headlining a festival where the
audience knew all the songs and screamed the lyrics with us. Unfortunately, my memories
tend to fade pretty fast, so I can ́t be more specific than that ... More recently we played a gig
in Castellon, Spain that really kicked off though!
MM: How do you prepare for a show, both mentally and physically?
A nice meal, a couple of beers and hanging out with our fans.
MM: What emotions do you hope to evoke in fans when they watch your band live
We always try to give 100 % on stage regardless of how many people we play for. The ones
who are there still paid their entrance and expect us to deliver. We want the audience to feel
our energy, have fun and forget about life for a while.
MM: Do you have any favourite pre-show rituals?
Not really. We used to do these very cheesy vocal harmonies with lewd lyrics. But it was
ironic. I think.
MM: How do you handle criticism or comparisons to other bands in the scene?
We have been around since forever, so we don ́t pay much attention to what people say about
us. Unless they are really nice of course. We know most of the bands that we get compared to,
and we try to help each other out rather that compete.
MM: Where do you see the band in five years, and what’s the ultimate goal for your music?
We will continue to tour, release albums and enjoy
making music. We will not stop until we have written the perfect rock song. And that may
take a while.
MM: Last song you listened to?
The Riptide Rats – Backwater Showdown
MM:Tell us why we should check out your band
Listen, I don ́t want to force anyone to do anything. But if you like well written, action filled, genuine
hard rock music played with attitude and skill, then we are probably right up your alley. We stick to
what we know, and feel confident to take on any stage or audience at this point. We get the job done.
MM:Final Words for your fans our readers
We are very grateful to every single person that listen to our music, buy our stuff and come to our
shows. Together we can fight the evil of meaningless pop, ai artists, greedy tech bros and shitty
algorithms. Once we have won, the world will be a better place. Cheers!
