                                                                                                    Sorrow Enthroned 01/03/23

MM: Can you tell us about your Band and whos your biggest influences
Sorrow enthroned is mostly a blackened death metal band, but there are
influences of slam as well. I draw a lot from morbid angel, dying fetus, dark
funeral, and all the modern death metal bands reviving that 90s sound.

MM: Where do you draw your inspirations and ideas from
As of late ive been listening to a lot of slam/brutal death metal like analepsy,
kraanium and organectomy. I am trying to have more fun with the music, theres
enough stress in my life.

MM: What would you say is your Bands favourite song ?
My favorite song at this point is unreleased, its called shit custard and will be on
the next album. It has some brutal death metal elements and is about a serial killer
making tasty baked treats out of the organs and bowels of his victims.

MM: Plans tour and festival wise for 2023
I do not tour

MM: What can we expect from (Band Name) live
Nothing planned yet, im hoping to scrape money together this year to invest in an
actual amp and cab so maybe I can find another band who needs a guitarist in the
future

MM: What do you like best and worst abt touring
I haven’t experienced it yet

MM: Which three Bands would be your ultimate touring buddies
Sanguisugabogg, 200 stab wounds, vomit forth is an easy answer for me

MM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your own)
and why
The black dahlia murder playing nocturnal in its entirety for its 10 year anniversary 2017 was
easily the best. Mostly since it was my first concert and experiencing that many people together
sharing the love of the same music was monumental. Leaving that show I remember wishing I
would die since I felt like my life was fulfilled at that point
MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with
I feel like it will be the upcoming album, I put a lot of time into it and its still not
done, but what I have so far is enjoyable for me. I am very invested in it and
excited to finish it

MM: Which are your Two favourite Albums of all time

That’s hard, I think ritual by the black dahlia murder and gateways to annihilation
by morbid angel. That answer could change on any given day though but those
two albums I could listen to on repeat for eternity.

MM: Can you remember the first time you ever played live and how it felt to have
people watching you?
I am expecting it to feel strange

MM: Growing up which Bands posters did you have on your bedroom wall.
I had no decorations except for a vinyl of black sabbaths self titled debut on the
wall. I loved that album at an early age, especially that opening song/riff it just
invokes such dread.

MM - Who do you think influenced the world of Metal / Rock more than any other
person
Theres no way to pin down one person, everyone in those early bands
contributed. Jimi page added variety and magic, tony Iommi added riffs, metal and
rock created itself, the godfathers of rock and metal were just channels for the
music to come through and evolve.

MM - What's the most important thing to the band right now?
Its most important to finish the next album and get it out there, the whole process
has been therapeutic and im enthusiastic to see it through to the end

MM:If you could do a cover of any song which one would it be and why?
I am actually working on a cover by one of the bands I mentioned earlier to put on
the next release, I wont say which though

MM: Tell us why we should buy and listen to your Band
If you like death and black metal raw and evil with bits of occultism paying homage
to great bands youll enjoy sorrow enthroned

MM: Four words to describe Shadow Enthroned
Raw, mean, emotional, heavy
