Rockabye Reaper interview 08/07/2024
Rockabye Reaper includes five talented young(ish) artists who bring a new sound to rock and heavy metal. The passion and love behind each performance and writing of the music is something they hold dear to their hearts. High spirits and drive to accomplish whatever they put their minds to in order to entertain the world.
MM: Love the video for "Betrayal" how's it been received so far:
The video and track has been received well so far, the band have pushed it to the BBC and various other avenues which has had very good feedback and play time on air etc.
MM: Tell us your plans tour and festival-wise for the year
Our next show is the 6th of July at SOS FEST in Manchester, we're really looking forward to performing at such a great event. Several tours and shows in the pipeline however are unable to release details yet as they have not been advertised or released yet.
MM: What’s the weirdest venue you’ve ever played?
Every venue has a weird tale to tell or back story so it’s hard to pinpoint a specific one due to there being too many.
MM: Who would be the ultimate band to share a stage with
We have many favourite band influences, I know bands like Iron maiden, ACDC, Metallica, Funeral For A Friend, Bullet For My Valentine, I Prevail, Bleed From Within, Trivium, Black Sabbath, Paramore, Nightwish Plus Many more the band would love to gig with. So many amazing bands and artists out there, it’s tough to mention all. This interview would overload the internet.
MM: With so many bands out there how hard is it to get noticed these crazy days:
It’s always difficult in music, you just have to keep pushing and hope that the right person comes along to give you a chance.
MM: If there was a made up song about yourself what would it be called
Five Strangers that found each other.
MM:What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?
As a band, we haven’t.
MM:What do you think is missing in the world of heavy Metal/ Rock music these days:
Musicians taken too soon who had so much more to give.
MM: What superpower would you choose for yourself for one day:
To produce endless money, so we could afford to arrange our own world tour.
