MM: Can you tell us about your Band and whos your biggest influences
Spent 30 years writing, recording and producing music in a duo band called Chris and Moira. We performed on many platforms both locally in Malta and away, and worked on various music projects. Now established as a solo artist, I’m collaborating with various musicians and other songwriters.I listen to a lot of different music, but in the end I always come up with my own sound, Alanis Morissette used to be my muse once..
 

MM: Where do you draw your inspirations and ideas from
I am mainly inspired by the people in my life, their impact on me and moments I choose to write about. Surroundings do make a difference especially if it’s a totally new place I’m visiting.

 

MM: What would you say is your Bands favourite song ?
There are too many to mention but mine is ‘Space’ by Biffy Clyro 
 

MM: Plans tour and festival wise for 2025
Still early to mention..but hopefully in the near future..
 

MM: What can we expect from Moira  Stafrace live
A fun performance, delivering my heart and soul in all I’ve written and produced with my fellow musician friends.
 

MM: What do you like best and worst abt touring
I like it cos I’m doin what I enjoy with the right people around me...so we get to live it together ..worst is timing..
 

MM: Which three Bands would be your ultimate touring buddies
Alanis Morissette..Yea yea yeas..Aurora
 

MM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your own) and why 
Muse..it was staged well..super spectacular 
 

MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with
Releasing albums and having them available on online platforms.. performing live Infront of 25k audience...singing to Pope John Paul ll at the Vatican..doin Eurovision in 1994 placing 5th for Malta 
 

MM: Which are your Two favourite Albums of all time
Maybe you’ve been brainwashed too by the New Radicals

MM: Can you remember the first time you ever played live and how it felt to have people watching you?
Yes I can...at school..it felt awesome...still does!

MM - What's the most important thing to the band right now?
To continue working on new material to be able to perform them
 

MM:If you could do a cover of any song which one would it be and why?
Running up that hill by Kate Bush...it’s a power vocal song
 

MM: Tell us why we should buy and listen to your Band
Should?? No..music is all about enjoyment and pleasure ..my music is great cos I wrote it and I’m proud of the talent I was given..it’s an upper
