Images of Eden
Title: Weathered and Torn
Release Date:16th September 2022
A week before Images of Eden head out on tour with Michael Schenker they will be unleashing “Weathered and Torn” upon the world. The EP is
pure Metalheads delight with Tittsworth’s outstanding vocals and Urquidi's streaming guitars with the virtuoso keyboards from Dean Harris bringing a flamboyancy to the band’s sound, this all backed up by the pounding rhythm section of Mulvaine on bass combined with the battering ram precision of Dorssom on drums. Your ears are in for a treat as we “Count to Zero” a fantastic start and more is to come as “Survivors guilt” rocks out of your speakers, this is a rampaging beastie, it’s powerful and intense with Dorssom leading the way with some enthused drumming and Tittsworths soaring vocals the lyrics resonate deep into your soul. Up next is the title track “Weathered and Torn” The pace continues to see you bang your head and raise your fist in the air, the guitar shredding rips into you as this song works its magic, truly outstanding it is my favorite on here hands down.
With some insanely delicious guitar man ship “Coexistence” races outta the traps and becomes an anthem with the title getting stuck in your head for days.
The final song “The Dead Me” is mellower than what has gone before here, which again shows Tittsworth vocal prowess combined with towering guitars it’s a stellar end to a kick-ass release.
Without a doubt, this five-track monster is a statement of intent both lyrically and musically from images of Eden.
