Gone Savage was formed in 1990 by Ian Salpekar (bass), Will Glover (vocals), Andy J (guitar), and James Ross (drums).
"Retrograde" is the band's new Album a hard-rocking full to brim monster awaits the listener as these talented aficionados deliver the goods.
Opening with "Ram  Me Down" the band deals a hand of punchy riffs to please Rockers old and new. This purebred Rock is the sweetest ear candy and right down my avenue with its Guitars, melodic overlays, and steady beating drums transport me back to days when I had no grey hairs, was as fit as a fiddle, and generally upsetting the neighbours!

"Shameless"'  is a statement of intent and is going to be a crowd-pleaser without a doubt. The guys have come up trumps, with his album it has competent professional musicianship throughout, seeing you hitting the replay constantly on this number, and has had me singing along a few times as I go about my day's chores with its Guitars and heads down boogying as the track builds. Just check those meaty riffs out!
"Money, Power Love" rocks up and takes no prisoners as the band continues to give that eighties vibe in 2024 style, modern rocking vibes schmooze and shake the foundations of the room.

The tempo is brought down as  "Here Comes The Shade"  opens up, and becomes a melodic fest of massive proportions, and by rights should be a massive hit as well the next song the delicious "Soul Sister" builds then explodes as the band takes you on a roller coaster ride of ups and downs with its vibes you could be back in those days of poodle perms and spandex pants!

The next track is an edgy noncompromising fueled rocker that batters your senseless as you dive into the unknown as "Adrenaline Junkie" pounds into the room. The ever so apt "World Gone Crazy"  has one hell of a workout as you punch the air and dance on tables, its sharp, and cutting grooves have you screaming for more! "IN 2 YA" is fantastic, flawlessly performed, very groovy, and richly textured.

The penultimate track "Sunshine and Flowers" has a very uplifting feel, well whaddya expected with a title like that, as the days draw in this is a song to play daily as the dull weather starts! "D.R.O.W.N.I.N.G" brings this opus to a close it’s a slow burner that captures the real songwriting talents of the band, a stellar end to a hellishly impressive work of art.

"Retrograde" feels like it’s been crafted to perfection, blending old-school rock with modern flair. This is the kind of album that makes you want to crank up the volume and lose yourself in the music.
