The alluring and captivating Eleine returns with their new album “Dancing in Hell” at the end of the month. This is a masterclass in Symphonic Metal that’s uplifting and intriguing as we are taken on a journey of inner demons, strength, and loss. It is a melodic deep and ravishing platter that inspires and fully immerses you with its beauty and the beast tones throughout.

Eleine consists of Madeleine “Eleine” Liljestam on Vocals the Beastly growls of Rikard Ekberg on Guitar and Vocals, with Anton Helgesson on Bass and Jesper Sunnhagen on Drums.

The superb “Enemies” opens proceedings, you are instantly taken on a journey of massive proportions as once again Madeleine's incredible Vocals deliver passion that simply engulfs the listener in its glorious tones. We get to trip the light fantastic as one of my favorite songs on this platter works its magic, Madeleine and Rikard duel on this masterpiece with its deathly growls from Ekberg and gloriously haunting delivery from the up and coming Swedish temptress draw you in and sees you “Dancing in Hell”. Choirs from the pits of darkness open as “Ava of Death” steal your fire and soul while you “Crawl from the Ashes” which scolds your being as Rikards growls send shivers up and down your spine.

The orchestrations and delivery on “As I Breathe” showcases with “Dancing in Hell” how far these Swedes have come in such a short time, its atmospherics and melodies hook you in straight away as this bewitching number takes you on a magical ride of emotions. I love the slow build-up as “Memoriam” builds into something quite immense with its grandiose vibe. ”Where your rotting corpse lie” fly’s high into the heavens and swoops and flows as the thunderous drums and Bass shake the walls, they simply continue to shudder cos the killer and highly addictive “All Shall Burn” steps up and has you singing along and punching the air in no time. Interestingly there are two versions of “Die from within” both are exemplary and pull at your heartstrings with their content, intensity, and words.

To round up I feel “Dancing in Hell” is without a doubt Eleine's finest work to date.

I adored “Until The End” and thought it would really be hard to better.

But Madeleine and the guys have delivered on all fronts with this work and I am sure they will win over many new fans and we can't wait for their return to these shores.
