08/10/19
MM: Which two tracks would you play me to introduce us to your Band
DS:We’d play you False Reality and Black Sheep to introduce you to us. They can be found on our debut album ‘Memento Mori’ on all
streaming platforms.
MM: Can you give us details on tours/festivals for the rest of the year and going into 2020
We currently do not wish to share that information. Stay tuned on our social media pages for announcements! @darkserenityband
MM: What can we expect from Dark Serenity live
DS:When you see us live you should expect a high energy, high wattage, headbanging show that’ll kick you in the chest. The feeling of
the combined energy of the crowd and the performance is pure engagement and excitement.
MM: Can u tell me what do you like best about touring And worst?
DS:New experiences are probably the best part about tour, new places, new people, new food. It’s all really amazing. The worst thing is
definitely when we have to sleep in our van. Regardless, we wouldn’t trade the feeling of touring for anything.
MM: Who would be your ultimate bands to tour with
DS:Rival Sons, Highly Suspect, Royal Blood, or Wolfmother would be ideal to tour with.
MM: With so many Bands out there..How do you intend to stand out from the others?
DS:The music that we write really stands out from everyone else. Our riffs, melody, and rhythm are unique to our own sound, our own
ambitions and our own creative vision. We intend to stay standing out from others by investing every unique part of our personalities
in our music to create an authentic, unadulterated image.
MM: When did you first realise you had such a musical talent and do you remember your first ever performance
DS:The band first meet in highschool. During our first few practices as a band we realized that we had great potential together, and we
prepared for our first show. Our first performance was a battle of the bands in Ann Arbor back in high school.
MM: Whats the most memorable concert youve been to (other than your own) and why?
DS:Our most memorable concert that we have attended would have to be Black Sabbath on the End tour. Simply because it was an
iconic end to an iconic band’s live career. It’s amazing to see your heroes perform in the flesh.
MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with (Band Name)
DS: Our band, Dark Serenity’s biggest accomplishment has been our recent tour. We went from New York to Colorado this summer, and
it was amazing in everyway.
MM: Which are your Two favorite albums of all time and what they have meant to you personally?
DS:Led Zeppelin One is our favorite albums because it set the stage for the most legendary rock band of all time. Close second is
Master of Reality by Black Sabbath due to it being an entire album of dirty riffs.
MM: Where would you like to see yourselves in 5 years time ?
DS:In five years we will have multiple albums released, probably signed to a label, touring regularly, and hopefully playing overseas.
MM: Four words to describe (Band Name)
DS: Iconic, Powerful, driven, Innovative
MM: Can you tell me why we should check out (Band Name)
DS:You should check us out because we have a unique and inspired voice, plenty of ambition, and an unmistakable riff-driven sound.
