Marios Christakis releases his latest Metal extravaganza, "The Great Awakening." A smorgasbord of Symphonic Metal full to the brim with majorly talented musicians, I can tell you your ears are in for a treat as the delicious tones of Melodic and powerful songs steal and ignite your soul.
"Twilight" opens as the Metal adventure begins on this tremendous Album. The gently flowing music leads into the massive "Executioner" that instantly enthralls and fascinates you as Marcello Vierias Vocals ignite and excite; this is pure ear candy as you get ready for battle it takes you on a roller coaster of emotions and dreams, added with the frantic shredding from Christakis combined with the rhythm section of Wolf De iuliis on Bass and Antonis Georgioros pounding Drums you know you are in for one hell of a treat after this death-defying assault on the senses.  
 

The gripping "Nightmares are Real" works its magic as we come to my favorite on here, "Souls Are Marching." It has everything from Neoclassical Metal to shredding face-melting riffs that shake your being. It's blindingly addictive, and I simply can't get enough of it.
  "Temple of the Unholy Rain" is pure epic metal of the highest quality, with Vieria shining once more while the rest of the band brings in those pounding metal melodies that change to lighter moments. These moments remind me of the danse macabre with its addictive tones, as this fantasy concept continues to draw one into a mythical world of conflicts, heroes, and blood-soaked grounds.
The thumping anthem "Temple of the Unholy Reign" rampages at you like a bull on Ritalin. This is fast, furious, and damn delightful. The majestic and awe-inspiring  "The Gate" clocks up at nearly nine minutes and kicks serious backside with its many emotions and different soundscapes. "Delfekor" opens gently and ignites into the delight of killer riffs and enchanting moments.   "Unspoken Terror" cracks the preverbal whip as this number casts its spell on you. "Gionis" sees the pedal firmly pushed to the metal as another masterful tale unfolds.
 

Finally, we come to the finale, as the massive "Final Confrontation" rocks up. Its theatrical extravagance oozes into your being as you come to the end of this fabulous opus.
Braveride's journey showcases an exceptional evolution in epic-power metal. Marios Christakis's commitment to fusing orchestral grandeur with the heroic essence of classic metal has birthed a distinctive legacy. "The Great Awakening"  is a symphonic masterpiece.
 

The dedication to storytelling and intricate craftsmanship is evident in this immersive fantasy world, which will continue to enthrall fans. This is an excellent album down to the album artwork, which is out of this world. It's visually stunning and would be amazing blown up and displayed. This Album needs all the support and recognition from the Metal community worldwide. It's immense!
