                                             The Red Crow Interview 24/0/2025

MM: Can you tell us about your band and who are your biggest influences?
We are The Red Crow, a stoner metal band that blends heavy, groovy riffs with
dark, existential themes. Our biggest influences include Red Fang, The Sword,
Black Sabbath, Nirvana, and Motörhead. We love the raw energy of rock ‘n’ roll,
the crushing weight of doom, and the grit of grunge.

MM: Where do you draw your inspirations and ideas from?
Our music is inspired by existential struggles, the absurdity of life, and a bit of the
supernatural—zombies, aliens, demons, you name it. We’re also heavily
influenced by films, especially Tarantino’s work. The way he tells stories—dark,
violent, yet oddly poetic—is something we try to channel into our music.

MM: What would you say is your band’s favorite song?
That’s a tough one, but The River from our debut album is definitely up there. It
captures everything we love—thick riffs, eerie atmosphere, and raw power.

MM: Plans tour and festival-wise for 2023?
Since it’s already 2025, we’ll say this—our focus is on getting our music out to as
many people as possible, whether that’s through touring, festivals, or just tearing
up whatever stage we can find.

MM: What can we expect from The Red Crow live?
A wall of sound, thick with distortion and groove. We aim for a hypnotic, immersive
experience—something that hits you in the chest and sticks in your head long after
the show is over.

MM: What do you like best and worst about touring?
The best part? Playing live. Nothing beats that energy. The worst? Probably the
long drives and shitty roadside food. But it’s all part of the ride.

MM: Which three bands would be your ultimate touring buddies?
Red Fang, The Sword, and Clutch. Beers, heavy riffs, and killer shows—what else
do you need?

MM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your
own) and why?
Probably seeing Motörhead live. Lemmy was a god, and that raw power is
something we’ll never forget.

MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far?
Releasing our debut album Spellbound. It was a labor of love, and seeing people
connect with it has been incredible.

MM: Which are your two favorite albums of all time?
Black Sabbath – Master of Reality
Nirvana – In Utero
Both are raw, heavy, and full of emotion.

MM: Can you remember the first time you ever played live and how it felt to
have people watching you?

Yeah, it was a mix of adrenaline, nerves, and pure chaos. The moment we hit the
first chord, though, it all made sense.

MM: Growing up, which band posters did you have on your bedroom wall?
Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Nirvana, and Mud Honey. All the essentials.

MM: Who do you think influenced the world of metal/rock more than any
other person?
Tony Iommi. Without his riffs, metal wouldn’t exist. Simple as that.

MM: What's the most important thing to the band right now?
Writing new music, playing more shows, and growing our fanbase. We want The
Red Crow to be a name people remember.

MM: If you could do a cover of any song, which one would it be and why?
Maybe Ace of Spades by Motörhead. It’s fast, heavy, and pure energy—fits our
vibe perfectly.

MM: Tell us why we should buy and listen to your band.
If you love heavy riffs, dark themes, and music that makes you want to headbang
until your neck gives out, The Red Crow is for you.

MM: Four words to describe The Red Crow?
Heavy. Gritty. Haunting. Relentless.

MM:Final words for your fans and our readers?
Keep it heavy, stay loud, and never stop seeking the truth—no matter how dark it

gets. See you in the pit.
