                                                                                                                     Silver Bullet

                                                                                                           Interview 1st October 2019

MM: You released  "Mooncult" not so long ago whats the feedback been like so far from Media and Fans

NN: Feedback has been nothing but spectacular. Especially from media        wordwide. Album reviews has been all and all quite positive and it seems that we have made lot of new fans too. There has been lot of interest shown towards the band and album so far, so we are pretty happy about the situation right now. Lot of buzz is going on.

MM:What inspires the Band lyrically and is it down to one person or is everyone involved in the writing process, and can you give us some insight into "Mooncult" I understand it has something to do with tales from Scotland

NN: In our debut album, Screamworks, we wrote the lyrics around the theme of horror-movies. I’d join the band when most of the material was written already by previous singer. If I recall, I wrote the lyrics to just three songs to Screamworks. In Mooncult, we wanted to make a true concept album, containing proper storyline and all. Since I was the one creating and planning the story, it was just natural that I wrote all of the lyrics to album. Of course it took lot of teamwork to combine all together, compositions, soundscapes, atmosphere and lyrics to accomplish seamless entirety.

Mooncult loosely basic on true happenings at North Berwick witch-trials that took place in Scotland 1590.

MM: Which two tracks would you play me  to introduce us to your Band if I was a Silver bullet virgin

NN: I prefer you to see us live, but if thats not to be arranged, you should check out the song titled Tormentor from the first album and She holds the greatest promise from Mooncult. To be honest, I would recommend you to listen Mooncult in whole. To get the best perspective and to really understand the story behind the album almost demands to listen the whole album continuously.

MM: Can you give us details on tours/festivals for the rest of the year and going into 2020

NN: We did recently couple of supporting gigs with Accept and Turisas and we got a tour in Europe planned too, but it collapsed to a lack of financing. At this moment, we are already writing material to third album, and we have few gigs booked to beginning of next year 2020.

MM: What can we expect from  Silver Bullet  live

NN: We like to add some theatrical elements to our shows. Actors, props, alter egos and so. And of course tight, professional playing with catchy choruses and riffs.

MM: Can u tell me what do you like best about touring And worst?

NN: Best thing about touring is social interaction and the feeling of togetherness with the boys in a band. Worst thing about it is without a doubt,  the waiting. You are always waiting for something. That just sucks.

MM: Who would be your ultimate bands to tour with

NN: Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Grave Digger, Burning Witches etc.

MM: With so many Bands out there..How do you intend to stand out from the others?

NN: That’s hard indeed. We would like to think, that the mix of melodic 80’s heavy metal and modern time metal, with invest to distinctive look and live shows, will give us personality enough to stand out.

MM: Why do you think Scandinavia has such an amazing pedigree for Rock and Metal Bands

NN: I dont know. Maybe it’s something we get from the mother’s milk or from our tab water.

MM: When did you first realise you had such a musical talent and do you remember your first ever performance

NN: What talent? I remember my first live performance like yesterday. It was in youth house in Tampere, Finland in 1985. Ages ago.

MM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your own) and why?

NN: There’s quite a few, but definitally 1987 Dio and Helloween at Giants of rock -festival in Hämeenlinna was one.

MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with Silver Bullet

NN: I hope that the biggest accomplisment is yet to come, but I must say that the whole writing and creating process of Mooncult was the biggest and most demanding accomplishment so far.

MM:  Which are your Two favorite  albums of all time and what they have meant to you personally

NN: This is almost impossible to answer. I have listen music actively from early 80’s. My favourite albums changes daily. If must say just two, I would say firstly Thin Lizzy-Chinatown and secondly W.A.S.P.-st. Chinatown was the album that indroduced me to harder rock or in world of music generally. W.A.S.P. was perfect album for an angstist, rebelious young man I was at that time.

MM: Where would you like to see yourselfs in 5 years time ?

NN: Dreams are good for man, but let just say that it would be great to be still alive then

MM: Four words to describe Silver Bullet

NN: Melodic, versatile, relentless, symphonic

MM: Can you tell me why we should check out Silver Bullet

NN: If you’re a fan of melodic 80’s traditional heavy metal, old school trash-metal, U.S power-metal, theatrical- and symphonic metal, catchy riffs and choruses, screaming vocals and killer solos, you should check us out!

MM: Quick Fire Round :Five Questions

1. Festival or Small Intimate Gig

NN: Both.

NN: Digital.

3.Sauna or Beer

NN: In Finland those are the same thing. A synonym.
