MM: Can you tell us about your Band and who is your biggest influences
Big Batch is a band that we created after 15 years with "Almond's Drive". It's a band of retirees who just want to rock n roll for fun. Our influences are the bands of the punk and grunge scene of the 90's. Greenday, Offspring, Motorhead, Foo Fighters, Sum 41 etc...
MM: What would you say is your Bands favourite song ?
« Best Wishes » is our favourite song from tthe album « The Last to fall »
If we're talking about our favorite song in general, maybe Greenday's "basket case" is our favourite one
MM: Plans tour and festival wise for 2023
We are going to play some small festivals in France and we would like to start scheduling more dates in France and abroad from the end of this year.
MM: What can we expect from you guys live
Energy and joy. We do concerts to party with the public. Music, beer and fun.
MM: Which three Bands would be your ultimate touring buddies
Definitely Royal Republic or Dropkick Murphys.
But there is very little chance of that happening =)
MM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your own) and why
Greenday / Lyon Dookie tour in the 90's. That's the show where the members of our band met.
MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with your band
The album « The last to fall ». With our previous band we did a lot of tours and we had many crazy experiences but with Big Batch, it's more calm. This album is our biggest accomplishment
MM: Which are your Two favourite Albums of all time
Greenday « Dookie » ; Offspring « Smash »
MM: Can you remember the first time you ever played live and how it felt to have people watching you?
The first show was in the basement of my parents' house in 1995. Our school friends were all there. One of the best moment of my life.
MM - Who do you think influenced the world of Metal / Rock more than any other person
May be Elvis, the King. He created Rock n roll. And for 35 years Dave Grohl is the biggest !
MM - What's the most important thing to the band right now?
To play live. Our music is done for that and we need to share it with people ! We keep making new songs but playing live is the most urgent thing to do
MM:If you could do a cover of any song which one would it be and why?
Live, we play a cover of Anarchy in the Uk / Sex Pistols. It's a song that unites people from different rock scenes. We sing together, there is an agressive but kind atmosphere and it takes us back to our teenage years
MM: If there was a heavy metal song about yourself what would it be called
